This part of the monument, I intended to appear like a water droplet:
It was inspired by the Waterscaper Resort by Orlando De Urrutia Architecture:
In Lumion, I modified the landscape so that it would appear that the water droplet in the monument was splashing into it thus exploring the interplay between an architectural structure and it's surrounding landforms.
To overcome the boundaries in Lumion I lowered the landscape. I also opened up the jagged spikes so that the monument could see through it to the ocean. This relates back to my concept regarding open spaces - illustrated through the opening up of the monument to the vast ocean.
I moulded the landform with regard to moving from one place to another and considering where people would get the best photos.
